Grandmaster Andrey Gorovets (2493 Elo May 2020; peak 2551 Elo 2645 USCF June 2016) was born in Belarus and graduated from Texas Tech University. He is the winner of numerous tournaments such as 2015 46th Annual National Congress, Philadelphia; 2015 PanAmerican Intercollegiate Championship; 2017 10th New York International Championship
2018 Washington State Open Championship, just to name a few. He is U.S. Top 10 most victorious chess player in 2014 and 2015 at the Grand Prix Events.
