Grandmaster Liem Quang Le

Grandmaster Liem Quang Le (2709 Elo June 2020; Peak 2739 Elo 2017) is the current Asian Champion and the former World Blitz Champion (2013). GM Le is the only one in chess history to win the prestigious Aeroflot Open tournaments two times in a row in 2010 and 2011. He has been consistently ranked as one of the top rated players in the world since 2011. GM Le has a long list of achievements. His most recent victories (2019) include: winner of World Open, winner of St. Louis Summer Chess Classic, winner of Asian Continental Championship, winner of Bay Area International Open, Silver Medal at IMSA Elite Mind Games (rapid chess).
